My Piggy Wiggy

Despite popular belief, my recipe blog was not named and has no relation to the ever-so-dear-to-my-southern-heart grocery chain Piggly Wiggly. No, in fact, the name is all based around this little guy:
My Piggy Wiggy
(fyi, he eats none of this stuff. this was me and my sister being funny. however, I'm now a little embarrased we were able to find this much junk food in our house. I'll blame it on the husband...)

My little piggy was born at a nice, normal weight of 7 lb 12 oz. However, he was hungry.
By the time he was two months old, he weighed 15 lbs. As you can see in the above picture, he was our  Michelin baby. Rolls galore. Ironically, he never ate/eats junk. I made his own baby food from scratch. The only sweets he gets to eat are ice cream and an occasional cookie, when he helps me make them.
So no worries. I'm not stuffing my babydoll with Little Debbies.

Somewhere around 6-8 months, we started calling him our little "piggy wiggy".
His daddy randomly started singing, "Piggy wiggy, piggy wiggy, weewee-wee-wee-wee!!"
Since then, every single time we sing it, our little man giggles and shakes his head back and forth.
Yes, it's odd, but it's awfully cute.

Thus, the name of this blog was born.
